据俄科学院西伯利亚分院网站报道，该分院克拉斯诺亚尔斯克科学中心的科研团队通过比较植物叶绿体与蓝细菌的DNA全基因组发现，叶绿体DNA内部结构与细菌存在实质性差异，这是科学界首次验证两者基因组存在原则性结构差异，就此推翻了植物叶绿体细胞起源于蓝细胞的假说。相关成果发布在“BMC Bioinformatics”科学期刊上。
